International People's Project (IPP)
International People's Projects (IPPs) are locally run projects that benefit a community and its environment. In partnership with local organizations, a group of volunteers from at least four different countries work together on a community project, such as combating environmental degradation, support for immigrants or an arts-based regeneration scheme. IPPs are personally fulfilling, giving you the chance to learn new skills and ways of thinking and make lasting friendships. They are an opportunity to live and work as part of a community, in an authentic cultural experience that will make a genuine difference. Around 25 volunteers participate in each IPP, including staff. Participants must be 19 years of age or older and by older we mean any age!
There are 8 fantastics IPPs this year: Brazil, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Great Britain, Italy (Genova and Bologna), and Philippines.

The USA currently has two invitations each (6 in total) to Brazil, Colombia and the Czech Republic. However, if anyone is interested in another IPP that we do not currently have invitations too, you are encouraged to contact Andrea Brockman and apply anyway as we have had great success in the past, picking up additional invitations when we know of an interest!
IPP participants are selected nationally by the IPP committee. Applications must be submitted via email to Andrea Brockman (firstname.lastname@example.org), by DECEMBER 1, 2015.
